I Got a Story to Tell: Short Readings w/ a Book Preview by Mychal Denzel Smith (hosted by The Nation Institute)

Mychal Denzel Smith is the author of Nation Books' upcoming Invisible Man Got the Whole World Watching: A Young Black Man's Education. A Knobler Fellow at The Nation Institute and contributing writer for the Nation and, Mychal is one of the country's most prominent young writers on race. His book delivers an intimate, unflinching account of what it means to be a young black man in America in the age of Obama, mass incarceration, and police brutality.
Tonight Smith will emcee, introducing each person to do a short reading followed by a preview reading from his upcoming book.
